Trinity Presbyterian Church
A congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America
Trinity Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the conservative Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) denomination. We follow our Risen Lord and Savior through conscious discipleship of our families and covenantal children. This "covenantal" approach to ministry within the Lord's Flock is sometimes also termed "family-oriented".
We highly prize the opportunity to gather each week before the Lord as His people to Worship Him. We prefer to worship in a "traditional" style that makes use of piano accompanied hymns and Psalms as well as the historic creeds and catechisms of the Church. We trust the Lord to lift us up by grace during Worship so that we all, from infants in arms to adults, may know that we have been in the presence of the Almighty each week.
We look for the Lord to use us, His people, to be salt and light and, as a Church, to be a "City on a Hill" to the Newark, DE region and the surrounding area. Members are engaged in personal evangelism and ministries - including Christian educational ministries such as Tall Oaks Classical School. The Church has also worked together to serve in a local relief mission and in evangelism and outreach activities such as the Cecil County Fair and Newark Nite. Our hope is to see the Lord use us to further His Kingdom - to make disciples - which includes giving the free offer of the Gospel to all people and training up all who come to Christ in the knowledge of the Lord.
To learn more about us and the God we serve, we invite you to explore this web site and to join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the sanctuary of the First Church of the Nazarene on 357 Paper Mill Rd., Newark, DE.
